Teacher Bio

Mr. Baeza was born and raised in Southern California. He attended and completed his K-12 education locally in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. While attending Murrieta Valley High School (MVHS), Mr. Baeza began to gain a passion for the French language and culture. It was that passion that allowed him to successfully pass the High Level International Baccalaureate French exam in his senior year; this was the highest level exam offered at his high school for French. Additionally, he obtained his Seal of Biliteracy in California for French.

Upon graduating from MVHS in 2014, Mr. Baeza continued his studies in French at the college level. He attended California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) as a French major. Through much time and dedication, Mr. Baeza completed his undergrad. studies in four years, and by 2018, he received his bachelor's degree in French. He later obtained his M.S. in Secondary Education from CSUF in 2022.

After completing his undergrad. studies, he quickly explored his options to become a credentialed teacher. That lead him to apply to CSUF's Single Subject Credential program in which he was accepted for the 2019 Fall cohort. This allowed him to work as a substitute teacher in the Spring of 2019 and gain teaching experience. Eventually, he began his credential program in the Fall of 2019 and finished in May 2020 at the top of his cohort. In no time, he began searching for his first teaching job and ultimately landed a French Teacher position for Poway Unified School District. He was in this position for the 2020-21 school year.

Eventually, an opportunity opened at Temecula Preparatory School and Mr. Baeza was hired to serve as the Upper School French Teacher. Mr. Baeza is very excited to be part of the amazing school culture that exists at TPS. He is enthusiastic to grow the French program at TPS, and see many students become lifelong learnings through learning a new language. He is glad to be at a school where all stakeholders (staff, students, and parents) recognize the importance of quality education. He is also thrilled to be teaching in his local community, and hopes to inspire his students to achieve their ambitions. All in all, Mr. Baeza is very honored to be at TPS and looks forward to helping students realize their potential in all that they do.
